Human bladder epithelium cells HBEP growing in clumps in the defined CnT-18, 6 days after thawing (cells grown according to our recommended protocols and seeding densities)
Isolation and Proliferation Media

CnT-18; CnT-16 - Defined, PCT media. Where a completely defined environment and maximum bladder epithelium cell purity is required. Both media provide excellent results through maximum retention of proliferative progenitors.

CnT-58 - Low-BPE, PCT medium recommended where absolute best attachement, isolation efficiency, colony formation efficiency and longevity is required, the quality of the starting material is not optimal, and / or a low BPE concentration (5 to 8 x lower than competitors) is compatible with the experimental setup.

Important Note: The isolation protocol and seeding density are critical elements in the establishment and passaging of bladder epithelial cells. CELLnTEC strongly recommends the use of our special bladder protocol - see the resources page for downloads.

Differentiation Media

CnT-21; CnT-36 - Defined media using highly optimised basal formulations and supplements, but without PCT factors.  Intended where bladder cells are induced to differentiate.

These media can also be used to establish 3D cell cultures of the bladder epithelium.

Applications from the Literature
