Epidermal Keratinocyte Progenitors
Mouse epidermal keratinocyte progenitor cells, cryo preserved at passage 25. Long-Term cells supplied with one 500 mL kit of medium (basal medium with frozen supplements).

MPEK-BL6 is a kit consisting of:
- 1 x MPEK-BL6.C: > 5 x 105 viable cells per vial (1mL)
- 1 x CnT-07: 500 mL kit of CnT-07 medium

Recommended seeding density after passaging: 4 to 6 x 103 cells / cm2.

Immediately upon arrival transfer the cryo vial to the liquid nitrogen container, until ready to use.

These keratinocytes have been shown to express keratin, and establish adhesion molecules including catenins, cadherins and desmoglein when induced to differentiate.
For routine cell cultivation CELLnTEC recommends to work without antibiotics / antimycotics. For isolation, However, we recommend the use of antibiotics / antimycotics up to passage 2.
Starting in December 2010: medium change in the kit. Now including CnT-07 medium. If CnT-02 is required, kit can be purchased with CnT-02 upon request.
