CnT-Accutase-100
Accutase® is a ready-to-use cell detachment solution, that contains proteoloytic and collagenolytic enzymes. Due to the invertebrate origin (crabs) it is free of mammalian and bacterial derived proteins. Accutase can serve as a direct replacement for trypsin.
Accutase is a Registered Trade Mark of Innovative Cell Technologies Inc.
It can be used for the detachment of cells from all types of cell culture plastics, including adhesion coated plastic ware. Accutase is a mild detachment enzyme that is very useful for the detachment of cells with following cell surface marker analysis. It is also useful for the separation of cell clumps for further analysis like cell counting with and without viability stain or flow cytometric analysis.
For passaging protocol, please see general cultivation protocol, in our resources section.
